Terms of Service

The Service

SiteStack is a subscription-based website design and local SEO service. We build your website, host it, maintain it, and manage ongoing SEO deliverables throughout your 24-month term — all included in your monthly payment.

Your deliverables are determined by the package you select at checkout:

• Launch — $297 USD/month: 10-page website, StoryBrand copywriting, on-page SEO, LocalBusiness schema, Google Search Console (GSC) submission, hosting, maintenance, unlimited updates
• Grow — $397 USD/month: Everything in Launch plus 15 pages, 5 City Authority Pages (CAPs) at launch, Customer Search Behavior (CSB) research, Authority Content Engine (ACE), AI Intelligence Map (AIM), Brave Search and Bing Webmaster Tools submission, +1 CAP per service per month, monthly performance report
• Dominate — $497 USD/month: Everything in Grow plus 20 pages, 10 CAPs at launch, Google Business Profile (GBP) full optimization and management, Apple Business Connect setup, IndexNow submission, +2 CAPs per service per month

24-Month Term and Payments

Your subscription runs for 24 consecutive months from your first payment date. Payments are charged monthly via the card on file through Stripe. Your subscription ends automatically after 24 payments.

• Your term begins on your first payment date, not your site launch date
• Monthly payments are non-refundable except as described in Section 7 (Guarantee)
• Failed payments result in a 7-day grace period before service is paused
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated at checkout
• At month 24 your site files are delivered within 7 business days and hosting concludes. You may continue at a reduced month-to-month management rate or self-host anywhere you choose

Build Timeline and Your Responsibilities

We guarantee your site goes live within 4 weeks of completed onboarding. IWT cohort members on the priority build queue receive a 3-week build guarantee. The clock starts from the date your intake form is fully submitted and your initial design direction is approved — not your payment date.

Your responsibilities during the build:

• Complete the intake form accurately and in full within 7 days of payment
• Respond to design review requests within 5 business days
• Provide photos, logos, and brand assets requested within 7 days
• Notify us promptly of errors or corrections after launch

Updates and Upgrades

Updates (included — unlimited): Changes to content on existing pages — copy edits, photo swaps, contact information changes, form modifications, and minor layout adjustments to pages already built. Submitted via the support desk portal, confirmed within 24 hours, deployed within 72 hours.

Upgrades (additional — $150 per page): New page builds beyond your package's included page count, new service additions requiring new page architecture, and City Authority Pages (CAPs) beyond your monthly included expansion. Upgrades require written approval before work begins.

Ownership

You own your website. SiteStack builds on clean, portable static HTML — no proprietary platform, no Content Management System (CMS) lock-in, no database tethered to our hosting.

• Your domain remains yours at all times
• Your Google Business Profile (GBP) and Google Search Console (GSC) properties remain in your name
• Your site files are delivered within 7 business days of your 24-month term ending
• Copywriting, design, and SEO content produced during your subscription are licensed to you exclusively and perpetually

Early Termination

Your subscription is a 24-month commitment. We invest significant build work upfront and spread the cost across your term. If you need to exit before month 24, site files can be released for a one-time buyout fee:

• Launch: $997 USD buyout fee
• Grow: $1,497 USD buyout fee
• Dominate: $1,997 USD buyout fee

Upon payment of the buyout fee, files are released within 7 business days and the subscription is cancelled. Cancelling your Stripe subscription without paying the buyout fee does not release your files or relieve your payment obligation for the remainder of the term.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the direction of your site after your first design review, notify us in writing within 30 days of your first payment. We will revise the design direction to your satisfaction, or refund your first monthly payment in full. Refunds are processed within 10 business days via the original payment method. This guarantee applies to the first payment only.

Support

Support is provided online via the SiteStack support desk. Standard response: confirmation within 24 hours, updates deployed within 72 hours on business days. Dominate clients receive priority support with a 12-hour confirmation window.

What We Cannot Guarantee

We cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, a specific number of leads, or specific revenue outcomes. Search engine algorithms change and results vary by market and competition. We are not responsible for changes to Google's ranking algorithms, third-party platform outages, ranking losses caused by changes you make outside agreed scope, or Google Business Profile (GBP) suspensions caused by policy violations on your part.

Intellectual Property

The ShermanLive.com website, brand, methodologies, and system names (SiteStack, ACE, AIM, CSB, CAPs) are the exclusive property of Sherman Hu operating as ShermanLive.com. You may not reproduce, resell, or represent our methodologies as your own.

Disclaimer

The ShermanLive.com website is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith communication. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in Chilliwack, BC, in accordance with BC arbitration rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify active clients via email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
